Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy (MNMA)
Within the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, the Mwalimu
Nyerere Memorial Academy (MNMA) was founded on October 1st, 2005, to offer
training in a variety of social sciences and other fields of study
pertinent to the advancement and promotion of social, economic, political,
and technical development of developing countries.
The MNMA main campus is situated in Kivukoni, Dar es Salaam. Its other
campuses are Pemba, which is situated in Pujini Chakechake Pemba, and
Karume, which is situated in Bububu, Zanzibar. To fill the following open
positions in the Institute, the Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy is
seeking a suitable, qualified, and competent individual from the United
Republic of Tanzania. The chosen candidate must be open to working at any
Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy campus.
Open Positions and Description
01. Assistant Lecture (Gender Studies) – 2 POSTS
Possessing a master’s degree in gender studies from a recognized university and a bachelor’s degree in gender studies with a minimum GPA of 3.8 in undergraduate studies and 4.0 in master’s studies.
02. Assistant Lecture (Procurement) – 2 POSTS
Possessing a Master’s degree in supply chain and procurement from accredited universities, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with a minimum GPA of 3.8 in undergraduate studies and 4.0 in graduate school.
03. Assistant Lecture (Economics)
Possessing a Master’s degree in Economics with a GPA of 3.8 from accredited universities, a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a GPA of at least 3.8 from undergraduate school, and a Master’s degree with a GPA of at least 4.0.
04. Assistant Lecture (Accountancy)
Possessing a Master’s degree in accounting from an accredited university, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.8 in undergraduate studies and 4.0 in graduate school.
05. Assistant Lecture (Human Resource Management/Public Administration) – 2 POSTS
Possessing a Master’s degree in public administration or human resource management from accredited universities, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in both fields with a minimum GPA of 4.0 for the master’s degree and at least 3.8 for the undergraduate degree.
06. Assistant Lecture (Geography) – 1 POST
Possessing a master’s degree in geography as well as a bachelor’s degree in geography with a minimum GPA of 3.8 in undergraduate studies and 4.0 in master’s studies.
07. Assistant Lecture (Mathematics) – 2 POSTS
Holder of a master’s degree in mathematics as well as a bachelor’s degree from accredited universities with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.8 and a minimum graduate GPA of 4.0.
08. Assistant Lecture (Statistics) – 2 POST
Possessing a master’s degree in statistics as well as a bachelor’s degree in statistics from accredited universities, with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.8 and a minimum graduate GPA of 4.0.
09. Assistant Lecture (ICT) – 2 POST
Possessing a master’s degree in information communication technology as well as a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, both with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.8 and a minimum graduate GPA of 4.0.
10. Assistant Lecture (Education in Psychology) – 3 POSTS
Possess a master’s degree in education (psychology) and a bachelor’s degree in education (psychology) from accredited universities, both with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.8 and a minimum graduate GPA of 4.0.
11. Assistant Lecture (Sociology)
Holder of a master’s degree in sociology from a recognized university and a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minimum GPA of 3.8 for undergraduate studies and 4.0 for graduate work.
12. Assistant Lecture (Community Development) – 2 POSTS
Possess a Master’s degree in community development and a Bachelor’s degree in community development from accredited universities, both with a minimum GPA of 3.8 for undergraduate studies and a minimum GPA of 4.0 for master’s degrees.
