Accountant Position
UZIKWASA
POSITION: Accountant
MODE: Full Time
As Accountant at Uzikwasa you will participate in the preparation of organizational budget and Support program staff in the preparation of operations budgets and plans
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guiding Cashier in perfoming her duties
- Reconciling petty cash before replenishment
- Reconciling radio sales and amount banked
- Ensuring regular update of fixed asset register at quarterly intervals
- Making available to the external Auditors all required records, books of accounts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or related field and ACA/ACCA/CPA
- Three years of post qualifications experience as Accountant or Finance professional
- Experience as an Accountant with NGO development working with Donor Agency preferably
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian Tax regulations
- Able to understand Accounting practices and procedures to analyze data
